磷酸戊糖途径（pentose phosphate pathway）是葡萄糖氧化分解的一种方式。由于此途径是由6-磷酸葡萄糖（G-6-P）开始，故亦称为己糖磷酸旁路。此途径在细胞质中进行，可分为两个阶段。第一阶段由G-6-P脱氢生成6-磷酸葡糖酸内酯开始，然后水解生成6-磷酸葡糖酸，再氧化脱羧生成5-磷酸核酮糖。NADP+是所有上述氧化反应中的电子受体。第二阶段是5-磷酸核酮糖经过一系列转酮基及转醛基反应，经过磷酸丁糖、磷酸戊糖及磷酸庚糖等中间代谢物最后生成3-磷酸甘油醛及6-磷酸果糖，后二者还可重新进入糖酵解途径而进行代谢。戊糖磷酸途径总反应式是：G-6-P+12NADP++7H2O→6CO2+Pi+12NADPH+12H+
